We have made remote auto appraisals as simple, straightforward, and convenient as possible. After you have decided you would like to move forward with a remote vehicle appraisal, you will have a link to our appraisal form sent to you by your preferred method of text or email. You will be required to enter your personal information and the vehicle’s details, with photos of the vehicle—including the current odometer and close-ups of any damages or components requiring repairs.
We are as efficient as possible with our appraisals and understand that most need this done as soon as possible. All of our PST appraisals are done within 24 hours as long as all required information is provided for a comprehensive vehicle evaluation. If your situation is an emergency and you need an immediate appraisal, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
For the best experience for our valued customers, we provide the appraised value prior to invoicing you for the appraisal service. If you choose to move forward, we will invoice you for our nominal fee of $99 + GST. Once payment is made, we will email your FIN-320 Motor Vehicle Appraisal Form. You can visit any local Insurance Broker to register your vehicle, paying the taxes for your appraised value or the sales price listed on your transfer paper (whichever is greater).
If we evaluate your vehicle and it is not worth it to move forward with the appraisal, there is no charge.

You can apply for a PST refund within 30 days of registering your vehicle. We will provide instructions on how to apply for your refund and supply you with the form you must fill out and submit to the Ministry of Finance to apply for a refund.
Please note that we always recommend getting your vehicle appraised for tax purposes before registrations; the refund from the Ministry of Finance typically takes two to four months to arrive.
