Effective October 1st, 2022, privately purchased Pre-Owned Vehicles are subject to paying Sales Tax on the average Canadian Black Book Wholesale Value comprised of the Year, Make, and Model. The value assigned does not consider the condition of your vehicle and the many additional factors that should determine the Market Price of your vehicle purchase.

Please note that for all remote PST Tax Appraisals, we will inform you of your appraised value prior to collecting payment; we take this step to ensure you are fully satisfied with our services.

The Vehicle Appraisal Process

One of our Appraisal Experts will consult with you to discuss your circumstances and assess your vehicle's condition

Step 03:

You will be provided with a link to our online portal that will allow you to upload all required information and photographs needed to remotely appraise your vehicle. The details collected will allow our team to complete a comprehensive assessment of your vehicle. This stage of the process verifies and documents its condition, flaws, and required maintenance that may affect your vehicle's value

Step 04:

Our Appraisal Expert will review your submission and determine the vehicle's True Market Value within 24 hours.

Step 05:

A FIN-320 Appraisal Form will be completed by our Licensed Agents as required by ICBC and the British Columbia Ministry of Finance

Step 06:

We will discuss the appraised value with you—if you are happy with our services and would like to proceed, we send you our invoice for payment. Once the payment is received, we send you the FIN 320 electronically

Step 07:

Submit your ICBC APV9T Transfer form along with the completed FIN-320 Appraisal form; you will only pay the taxes on the True Value of your vehicle at your local insurance brokerage
